GMHC - Fight Aids. Love Life.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer corps continues to represent humanitarian leadership in the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We provides a tangible means through which individuals and communities can take action in the fight against AIDS.  Volunteers consistently provide compassionate, dedicated and effective responses to communities impacted by HIV and AIDS.  We invite you to be a part of this community.

If you are interested in volunteering, here are the first steps to take:

  1. Check out our volunteer opportunities on the left-hand side of the page to work with clients, the public or with staff.
  2. Download a volunteer application (PDF) or call 212.367.1030 to have one mailed to you.
  3. Come to an Open House held the first Wednesday of every month starting promptly at 10:30 am or 6:30 pm. It runs about an hour and a half. Bring your completed application.

GMHC is located in The Tisch Building, 119 West 24 Street, New York, NY. We are near the 23rd Street station of the C, E, F, N, R, 1, 9 and 6 train.
