Pride Events

Work during the annual Pride events provides GMHC the opportunities to raise visibility of our services and programs, offer HIV testing, reiterate our commitment to fighting social injustices and support the lives of LGBT folks and their allies.   We march in the parades, distribute our materials at the festivals, test people, talk with thousands of people about our work, network with our partners — and much more.  If would like to march with us during any of the parades, please call 212.367.1016 or write to press@gmhc.org.  Please note the list below does not include all of the Pride events in New York City.

Saturday, July 17 – Youth Pride Festival

Judson Memorial Church,  55 Washington Square South, NYC—Subway trains:  A,C, E,F,V,B, D to West 4th Street and 6th Avenue.

GALDE Pride Picnic & Health Fair  (Gay & Lesbian Dominican Empowerment Organization) – Sunday, July 25 

Inwood Hill Park (by the Soccer Field)—Subway train: A to 207thst Street (Inwood Station).
Actual time of event: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Bronx Pride Festival – Saturday,  August 14 

Barretto Point Park — Take 6 Train to "Hunts Point Avenue" Stop, then hop on #6 Bus and head east to last stop (near prison barges) and follow the signs to the park.
Actual time of event:  12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
