Statement from AIDS Walk New York Leaders Regarding the Boston Tragedy

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to all those who suffered losses due to the tragedy in Boston on April 15.

At AIDS Walk New York, the safety of our walkers is always of paramount importance. We will be working closely with government authorities to ensure a safe event, which will be held as scheduled on Sunday, May 19.

We call on everyone to be careful, but not afraid, as we gather once again in Central Park for the powerful day of compassion, activism, and community spirit that is AIDS Walk New York.
