27th annual AIDS Walk New York (AWNY)

7:30 am: MEDIA CHECK-IN (at Loeb Boathouse Central Park)
9:00 am: AIDS WALK OPENING CEREMONY (at the stage next to Sheep Meadow)
10:00 am: AIDS WALK BEGINS

WHO:
More than 45,000 participants are expected to attend. The landmark event benefits GMHC and 41 other local AIDS service organizations who provide food, housing, medical care, and much more to people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as vital prevention work that reaches hundreds of thousands throughout the tri-state area.

Confirmed celebrity guests include: Wendy Williams ("The Wendy Williams Show"), Nick Jonas ("How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying"), Keri Hilson (Grammy Award Winner), Barrett Foa ("NCIS: Los Angeles"), Dot-Marie Jones ("Glee"), David Hyde Pierce (Emmy Award Winner), Audra McDonald (Tony Award Winner), Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"), Karlie Kloss (Victoria Secret Model), and Jason Wu (Designer)

Marjorie J. Hill, PhD, CEO of GMHC, and Craig R. Miller, Founder/Producer of AIDSWalk New York will also address the crowd.

WHERE:
The 10k (6.2-mile) AIDS Walk route begins and ends in Central Park.
