New York, NY, April 4, 2011 - Actor and long-time AIDS Walk supporter Wilson Cruz (My So-Called Life), along with CBS 2's Kristine Johnson and Maurice DuBois (co-anchors of CBS 2 News at 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekdays), will join hundreds of key supporters, including corporate and community leaders as well as top fundraisers, to kick off the final weeks of the fundraising campaign leading up to the 26th annual AIDS Walk New York (AWNY), to be held in Central Park on Sunday, May 15.  Cruz, Johnson, and DuBois will speak at this inspiring and entertaining evening, which will honor the AIDS Walk's most dedicated participants, donors, volunteers, and sponsors.

Attendees will include Marjorie J. Hill, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of GMHC, AWNY's primary beneficiary.  Also attending will be representatives from the event's Presenting Sponsor, Duane Reade, and other top sponsors including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Delta Air Lines, Bloomberg, CBS 2, Gap Inc., Barclays Capital, Empire BlueCross BlueShield, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, and The Village Voice.  CBS 2 has returned for the third year as the exclusive broadcast television sponsor.
