More than 45,000 participants are expected to attend. The landmark event benefits GMHC and more than 40 other local AIDS service organizations that provide food, housing, medical care, and much more to people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as vital prevention work that reaches hundreds of thousands throughout the tri-state area.
Confirmed celebrity guests include: Megan Hilty (Smash), Bebe Neuwirth (Tony and Emmy Winner), Alex Newell (Glee), and Michael Urie (Buyer & Cellar, Ugly Betty).
Special musical performance by: Legendary Singer and Grammy Nominee Martha Wash, singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
Political officials expected to attend include: United States Representative Carolyn B. Maloney; State Senators Brad Hoylman, Liz Krueger, Gustavo Rivera, and José M. Serrano; New York State Assembly members Richard N. Gottfried, Linda B. Rosenthal, and Luis Sepulveda; New York City Council Members Gale Brewer, Robert Jackson, Letitia James, Jessica Lappin, Rosie Mendez, Mark Weprin, and Jumaane Williams; and Robert Doar, Commissioner, New York City Human Resources Administration.
Marjorie J. Hill, PhD, CEO of GMHC, and Craig R. Miller, Founder/Producer of AIDS Walk New York, will address the crowd.
General Entrance to the event is on 59th and 5th Avenue.

All media, including satellite vans and trucks, please enter Central Park at 5th Avenue and 72nd Street and follow the East Drive north to the parking lot of Loeb Boathouse Central Park. Posted signs will direct you to the Media Check-In table, which will be located in the Boathouse parking lot. Parking is available near Media Check-In; however, you must call Krishna Stone (see number above) in advance to make any arrangements for parking or live feeds.
