Braised Red Cabbage with
Pears
Ingredients:
1 lb Red Cabbage, cored and sliced finely
2 Bosc Pear, grated
3T Butter
4T Balsamic Vinegar
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Add the cabbage, grated
pear and balsamic vinegar.
Cover and cook over moderately low heat about 30 minutes or until
the cabbage is tender.
Taste and adjust with salt & pepper, adding more vinegar if necessary.
