Braised Winter Greens with Garlic & Ginger

 

May be eaten with brown rice as a meal or as a side dish for dinner.

Ingredients:

1t Olive Oil
1T Garlic, finely chopped
1t Ginger, finely chopped
1 Head of Kale or Chard

Directions:

De-stem the greens and coarsely chop. In a heated fry pan, warm the oil. Add the garlic and the ginger and allow the flavors to permeate the oil. Add the greens and stir through. Add a dash of water or broth and cover to steam the greens. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
