Get Tested

We provide HIV counseling, testing, health information, education, risk-reduction strategies, referrals and partner notification services. We also provide Hepatitis C and Syphilis testing. People who want to be tested must complete an intake and consent to testing. Referrals for additional supportive services are also available. All services are offered free of charge. We are open Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 am – 7 pm, for walk-ins. Thursdays from 12:30 pm – 7 pm, for appointments, and Fridays from 12:30 pm – 7 pm for walk-ins.  For additional information, please contact testing@gmhc.org or call 212.367.1056.

Outside of New York State, you can call the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National AIDS Hotline. They can answer any questions you might have about HIV and AIDS and direct you to a nearby test site. They are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
