On Monday, October 25, 2004, Gay Men's Health Crisis will return to Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall with a new and exciting gala benefit concert event — Showstoppers! — featuring legendary Broadway stars performing the signature "numbers' for which they are best known. Avery Fisher Hall was, of course, the site of our triumphant 2003 concert production of Jerry Herman's Broadway musical, Mack & Mabel.

The cast of fabulous Broadway performers already includes Stephen Bogardus (Falsettos, Man of La Mancha, 1995 Tony® Award Nominee for Love! Valour! Compassion!), Liz Callaway (Miss Saigon; 1984 Tony® nominee for Baby), Deborah Cox (Aida), Melissa Errico (2003 Tony® Award nominee for Amour), Tony® Award winner Randy Graff (Les Misérables, City of Angels),Tony® winner Debbie Gravitte (Zorba, Jerome Robbins' Broadway), Ellen Greene (Little Shop of Horrors), two-time Tony® winner George Hearn (Sweeney Todd, La Cage Aux Folles, Sunset Boulevard), Irene), the legendary Carol Lawrence (West Side Story), Tony® Award winner Priscilla Lopez (A Chorus Line, Company, Henry, Sweet Henry), Andrea McArdle (Annie), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Tony® winner Kiss Me Kate, and nominated three times for Man of La Mancha, King Hedley II, and Ragtime), Broadway legend and multiple Tony® winner Robert Morse (How to Succeed in Business...), Pamela Myers (1971 Tony® nominee for Company, Into the Woods revival), Tony® winner Jerry Orbach (Promises,Promises, Chicago, 42nd Street), Christine Pedi (Little Me revival), Alice Playten (Caroline, or Change, Seussical, Hello Dolly, 1968 Tony® Award nominee for Henry, Sweet Henry), legendary performer and two time Tony® winner Chita Rivera (Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink), and Colm Wilkinson (Les Misérables, the original London production of Jesus Christ, Superstar).  And that's just the beginning. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements to come. This event promises to be one of the most sought-after tickets of the fall theater season and one that will be remembered for many years to come.

To buy non-benefit level tickets priced at $27.50 – $125, please call Center Charge at (212) 721-6500 or visit the Avery Fisher Hall Box Office at 10 Lincoln Center Plaza.
