GMHC Program Showcase
February 26, 2007

On Monday evening, February 26, 2007, supporters and friends joined
GMHC staff for a unique Program Showcase Event highlighting the work of
the Institute for Gay Men's Health.
Robert Bank, GMHC's Chief Operating Officer, welcomed the Institute's
supporters and friends. Dr. Bill Stackhouse, Director of the Institute
for Gay Men's Health, gave a brief overview of the Institute's work in
creating innovative, community-based HIV prevention messages and campaigns
that focus on the sexual health and wellness needs of gay and bisexual
men. The evening's program featured special sneak previews of new public
service announcements and social marketing campaigns along with a preview
of future activities designed to promote the well-being of gay men and other
men who have sex with men.
The enthusiastic audience heard from key staff responsible for
this important work including Giovanni Koll, Coordinator of Environmental
Interventions, Francisco Roque, Manager of Community Education and Gabriel
