The Way Forward: An HIV Prevention Technologies and Microbicides Policy Update
Join us for a dynamic update on promising HIV prevention technologies, including microbicides, and a discussion on strengthening our advocacy in New York City, the U.S. Congress and beyond. Featuring presentations from AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition, Global Campaign for Microbicides, Community HIV/AIDS Mobilization Project and others.

Monthly seminar reviewing the changes in Medicaid, Medicare, ADAP and the Special Needs Plans which are the new Medicaid Managed Care Plans for those who are HIV+.

Insurance Forum
Participants are provided with an overview of the insurance options open to HIV-positive persons, either currently working, thinking of going out on disability, or unemployed. The facilitator is Mark Scherzer, Esq.

Women's Institute/Lesbian AIDS Project

Safer Sex Kit Assembly Party for Women Over 50
A safe space for Women to gather and have fun talking about sexuality, sexual health, and healthy relationships; while making safer sex kits (Pussy Packs), that will be distributed in communities where HIV/AIDS most impacts women of color.

New Debt Management Clinic
Loans – Credit Cards – Bankruptcy – Tax Referrals – Student Loans All clients who need information and assistance with issues regarding credit cards and other debt, and general tax referrals will be asked to attend monthly Debt Management.

Housing Forum
A monthly forum to answer clients question regarding housing issues such as Repairs, rent abatement and other landlord/tenant issues.

Immigration and HIV
A monthly forum on immigration for People and HIV and AIDS. An opportunity to learn about your rights and options as an immigrant with HIV/AIDS. A forum in Spanish language will conducted at the same time in Room 410
