Client Advisory Board (CAB)
GMHC's CLIENT ADVISORY BOARD (CAB), formally know as the Program Services Advisory Group (PSAG), established in August 1999, is composed of GMHC clients and staff. Its mission is to provide advice on the agency's programs and services. With a clear focus on providing program-specific input, the CAB works to ensure that GMHC is sensitive to the needs of HIV infected and affected persons.
The CAB is responsible for the Suggestion Boxes located throughout the agency and for providing written responses to the issues raised. CAB Minutes and Suggestion Box responses are posted on GMHC's 12th floor bulletin board. GMHC clients interested in becoming a member of the CAB can complete an application application (PDF) for membership. Six meetings are held each year.
