ACTION ALERT!

SAVE MEDICAID
URGENT ALERT — HAPPENING TODAY!

CALLS NEEDED RIGHT NOW!!
The U.S. House of Representatives is voting today on the federal budget. Their budget proposal calls for over $10 BILLION in Medicaid cuts — $2 billion of which would hit New York.

But there is a glimmer of good news — New York State members of Congress, especially Congressman Vito Fossella from Staten Island and Southwest Brooklyn, ARE STILL UNDECIDED. Apparently, they are uncomfortable about the Medicaid cuts — and rightly so.

ALL NEW YORKERS must call their member of Congress NOW, especially if your member is Rep. Fossella, and say:

"I am a constituent and Medicaid is extremely important to people with HIV/AIDS, and important to all low income and disabled people in New York I strongly urge the Congressmember to vote NO on the budget."
