Hotline

Our hotline is the place to come for questions frequently asked of the Hotline peer counselors, and links to the information most sought after by our callers and e-mailers.

Answers to many questions can be found by visiting "Ask GMHC". If you find that your questions are not answered there, you can email us at: hotline@gmhc.org. We hope to answer you within 14 days of receiving your request. However, please understand that we get a large volume of emails each day, and our ability to respond depends on our peer counselors' availability.

If you need a quicker response, or would like to speak anonymously with a peer counselor, please call the GMHC Hotline at 212-807-6655 or 1-800-AIDS-NYC (1-800-243-7692).

Hours: We are open Monday through Friday 10 am to 9 pm (Eastern Time -GMT minus 5 hours).

Línea Informativa: If you'd like to talk to a Spanish-speaking peer counselor, please call our hotline on Wednesdays according to the schedule listed in our Spanish hotline section Spanish hotline section.

FLASH! The Hotline will be open on the following Saturdays from 12 pm – 3pm:

November 8 & December 13, 2008 and in 2009 January 24, March 7, & May 2

Our peer counselors will be on the lines for you!
